Mike,

The Travelocity website is great, and makes it quite easy to scan a wide array of flight options. I agree that being highly visited site is a major plus for them, because there's a stickiness to these types of sites that encourages users come back rather than create new accounts at competing sites.

My main worry, however, is discussion I see concerning travel agencies potentially opting out of Sabre and linking into airlines individual systems. I simply don't understand the risks there enough, but TSG must maintain dominance there. Your comments on the DOJ may hold true and it may be in the airlines interests to not compete with Sabre on that front. The price action right now is telling me to just cut my losses - I had to sell something for a down payment and this one makes the most sense for me now from a tax viewpoint. Maybe after wash sale expires I'll take a look again. _If_ they can maintain historical performance levels they are absolutely a steal right now, but I have to admit the price action makes me wonder if the risk to the core business is greater than expected.
