Interesting. In the late 50's one of the program's I was working on was an attempt to design memory using tunnel diodes. (At Univac). Never amounted to anything. <g>

Could you take another whack at proving that Rambus' solutions (for example the programmable delay register) are not obvious? I'd argue against your statement, but I can't see the logic behind it, and I suspect that you meant much more than you wrote.
