This thread doesn't like SNDK TA

Actually Larry I think the consensus is that this thread doesnt like TA. Period. (JMHO of course) But don't let that stop you posting. People who dont want to see TA mumbo jumbo (IMHO) can always 'ignore' you.

And I deplore personal attacks on anyone here, including you. I think the recent drop has frazzled a number of normally laid back folks here.

Joe

Larry, it's not a matter of liking or disliking technical analysis, as opposed to fundamental analysis. It's more about what either method of analysis can teach investors about the company, its stock performance, and when to buy or sell. Many who participate in these discussions have a long term outlook, and therefore, they are more likely to be persuaded by long term factors, which TA does not address very well.

Larry, please post your TA here. Anyone who doesn't like seeing other peoples's opinions on SNDK can go buy a server and start their own message board with themself as the only member.

I lurk here and find the FA very useful, as I do not want to buy a stock that, IMO, has no "future". But TA is important to assist one in when to buy a stock. For example, in the referenced chart below, indications are that SNDK will go lower, thus enabling an investor to buy at a (possibly) cheaper price:

(P&F shows the same thing.)

Larry, I believe it was either you or Zeev who said that SNDK was hitting serious resistance around $74. Do you see any failure, and I hope this won't be the case, to break through and hold above this point as an indication of another short term fall into the 60's?

I know some people on the thread don't like TA, but I really don't care. You can PM me if you are afraid of offending them, but actually I think your contribution has been pretty on track. Long term and short term are not a conflict. If they were, the long termers would just hold their stock and not bother looking at the thread every day. The simple fact of using SI seems to indicate a short term concern.

Regards, Mark
