The increased respiration and metabolism of the cat would be effected first if it were an inhalant. It is possible that the outward appearance of the cat would tell very little. Our dogs dies a few months after learning we had CO in the house. They appeared normal to us at the time.

A cat may not be even slightly effected by other toxins.

I remember that Edwarda had a scan for heavy metals. I read it on the thread yesterday.
