Interesting,... I had a similar experience with my computer automatically connecting. I never got to the bottom of it, but didn't expend much effort as I was going to wipe the hard drive and start afresh anyway. I'll look for DSSAgent.

Reminds me also of the time the kids' new Compaq was downloading something on it's own. It turns out it was a new video driver from CPQ but it took me a while to figure it out. I hate unauthorized (by me) communications to unknown sites.
