Paul,

With all due respect, what's this "long" supposed to mean to your AMD stocks?

panic

I am disappointed, however, that AMD cheerleaders such as yourself seem to have trouble getting new suckers in to buy more AMD at higher and higher prices.

Appearently your cheerleading squad is more effective. No matter, we can wait until earnings.

If you want your bashing to be really effective, why don't you start talking about Willy? As you know, Timna, was designed to compete against a product line, the K6, which will happily die before its executioner arrives.

I see one of two possibilities in the next few months:

1) Dell begins shipping Duron systems, or
2) Celeron moves to a 100MHz front side bus.

Also I heard a nasty rumor that most web servers out there use scripting languages and Java to do their logic. I wonder how a >30 (non trace) clock cycle branch miss-predict penalty would effect such server performance? Intel does make a good c++ compiler, do they plan to also make a Foster JVM?
