You are probably correct. My experience is limited to electromechanical devices for separation processes (thereby the "IMLE"). Combination of composition of matter, process and configuration processes, with different applications.

IMPORTANT QUESTION: If a continuation was filed and the patent issued, is there not a public record (of the continuation)? This would be important for the interested parties to explore in this case (shareholders and shorts included).
