Janice,

>>I posted earlier about people who live alone. You haven't done in a great many years, so perhaps you don't
quite understand.

That is a very good point. One thing we can do and learn from this experience is that many of us who do not live alone take for granted our daily interaction with others with whom we live and the dependency on those relationships.

I am so very grateful that Edwarda had a neighbor who took the time to "check in" and verify her condition. And yet I also believe that it is plain that Edwarda put a great deal of mental and emotional energy into her online relationships and it would be hard not to respond to such.

Certainly I agree with your last paragraph. ANd I think that the love and caring is what is important from this thread.
Edwarda had told me Thurs that she was expecting someone over the weekend who would take care of her. And the cousins seem very involved and close to her. And her sister and niece are there.
They have turned over all meds. They have done what needs to be done.
But when we begin suggesting that someone go search her aprtment, or contact people in her very private life, I think we go too far.
However as you said, I don't really understand, so I will say no more and hope it does help.
