Welcome, Marcie. As friends -- some very good friends -- of your Aunt we are gratified that you and your mother were able to come up to be with her. We will look forward eagerly to whatever news you can give us. At the same time, keep in mind that your aunt's needs, your needs, and your mother's needs come first, so don't feel an obligation to spend time here you need to be spending with your mother or at the hospital. I will be grateful to hear your comments as to how your aunt (seems silly for those of us who know her real name to call her Edwarda to you, but she didn't want her real name used on SI, so I settle on "your aunt") is, and whether there is anything else that her friends here can do. I'm on the west coast, so feel helpless to do much except pray for her. Our love and concern automatically go out to you as somebody who is precious to Edwarda.

On second thought, I've disabled Edwarda's account completely. When she gets better, she'll know to contact me to get it re-enabled. Marcie, you need to call Jeff Guthertz tomorrow at 1-216-447-1595 and he'll tell you your loginID and password. I'd email the info to you, but I'd really prefer it if the only program you run on your aunt's machine is her browser. And that only to log in to SI. Pretty please? Bob

Marcie, I know you posted that message and not Edwarda, but I simply felt the need to post this to her "screenname". To all: As I previously posted, Edwarda and I traded several posts, all of which were enjoyed by me. I felt honored when I would open my Inbox and find a message from her. Edwarda, I and others were having a little fun on my "Argue" thread, and she made the following comment to c.horn, after he asked (in fun), who invited her. She posted: bullrider--don't think I want to pick a fight with him! As soon as I read it I responded: "I could never be mean to a nice person like you." I meant it with sincerity then and I repost it with sincerity now. Edwarda was one of the nicest and most intelligent people I have ever encountered on the various threads and message boards I have frequented. Also one of the most fun. She responded to my post with this: Why, what a very nice thing to say! Don't I wish that more people felt that way about me! ;-) If only she knew. It is truly hard to comprehend how much pain one feels when they have lost an acquaintance they have never met in "3D". Edwarda, I will miss you, and I am in pain. Love, Phil
