All true Mark. The only thing that may stop Tiger's dominance could be the lack of competition. Without it, how can he pushed to his limits? May become difficult to maintain focus.

Golf is at a serious crossroads right now. There is one player so far ahead of the rest of the pros, it actually makes for rather boring golf to me.

I agree, especially for current golf fans. But for those who don't normally watch golf, a golf superman, as Michael Jordan was a basketball superman, can bring new viewers to the game. They will watch to see his excellence and to see maybe the best there has ever been.

If this is good or bad for the game, I don't know. Do more average folks play basketball because there was a Michael Jordan?
