I might agree that 1% for SDRAM is too much cos it wasn't factored in when SDRAM production started up but it depends on the circumstances of how Rambus technology ended up in SDRAM in the first place.

What is your basis for coming up with that 1% figure? I was not aware Rambus were asking that for SDRAM.
