Not long ago I had given up on humans. Forty five years of experience had proven to me that on the whole, humans are not all that nice to be around. I am thrilled to be a stock trader, as it allows me to pick and choose and if I like, ignore all human involvement in my life. I feel nice and safe behind this key board, where only self imposed misery can get to me.

In the last 3 days I have had an experience that I will not be able to take from my mind for any time in the rest of my life. I have seen human kind in its rarest and most pure form. I've seen people who could, without anybody knowing, run form this horror, yet nobody has. The love for another human is so strong here that it may be the most profound experience of my life.

Edwarda is the person I have used to balance the bad with the good. Regardless of misery, markets, happy days or sad, she is the strongest example of consistant cheer I have ever met, and I always needed a healthy dose of her cheer near daily.

BUt, the lesson I learned here in the past 3 days is that she had not cornered the market on what I'll call quality humanism. This group, who fight so vigorously for her survival is, to me, the best the world has to offer. And I am happy and proud to know each and every one of you. My only regret is that the meeting is because of Edwardas' illness. Illness aside, I wish we had met many years ago.

My best to all of you. My prayers and love to Edwarda. Let's keep up the good work. Good night all.
