The only credit that Clinton should get is for being smart enough not to boot Greenspan. TP, In 1993, all Democrats voted for a Clinton sponsored tax increase and all Republicans voted against that tax increase. Economic history will correctly record that tax increase as a significant factor in the economy's fantastic performance during the 90s. Clinton gets credit for that action. He has made a lot of mistakes but he deserves very good grades for management of the economy. History will give him credit for this.
