Re: "This is so bereft of intellectual honesty. You have no scruples stating an outright lie to contradict a debatable opinion. I observed you do this time and time again. If you want to bring balance to this thread, I'd humbly suggest that you stick to truth so that you can have some credibility."

Muzo, I don't think you know what scruples are or you would not have singled me out to the exclusion of others. My statement is no less a fact, nor is NiceGuy's fallacious claims any more an opinion, except in the mind of someone who has already decided what it is he wants to believe and what it is he wants to reject. The point is that there are no standards here for those who wish to glorify AMD or trash Intel, so why are you imposing standards on me? As they say in basketball, call em both ways or keep your mouth shut.

My issue is again with intellectual honesty. I don't care if NiceGuy is delusional; at least he seems to believe what he says, however maybe misguided. You, on the other hand, completely made up this "Athlon bug" by your own admission. I am not even asking for any proof of this. It is just that I believe saying "what he is saying is not true, so I am gonna make up stuff too" doesn't add anything to do discussion. You have a lot of other "real" issues wrt AMD and you have no difficulty voicing them nor do I have any problems reading them. You just don't have to make up things which you know for sure aren't true.

Elmer Re..<<<<<<Muzo, I don't think you know what scruples are or you would not have singled me out to the exclusion of others. <<<<<<<

Elmer, what others? Provide a link to anyone here who has admitted to lying on this thread. (Other than yourself of course) If you think niceguy was lying, provide a link or url to a statement by anybody (even Intel)
proving the obvious is misleading; that the Register is wrong, and Intel actually is producing 1ghz in quantity.

<<<<<<< The point is that there are no standards here for those who wish to glorify AMD or trash Intel, so why are you imposing standards on me? As they say in basketball, call em both ways or keep your mouth shut. <<<<<<<<>>>>

What a piece of bunk. Niceguy was reprimanded here for being overly optimistic in his predictions for AMD's price, just as you were for your idiotic one million chips a week thing. We have discussed Willy, coppermine, rambus and i8** series chipsets here. Just because you work for Intel occasionally, doesn't give you the right to lie your fool head off and not get called on it.

Thirdly, Muzzo wasn't setting standards. He simply stated that liars don't have any credibility after awhile. If you wish to be known as the board liar, that is up to you. To give any credence to your statements is up to us.

Elmer,

Are you a paid basher? I found out from the Rambus thread that paid bashers get $5 per post.

The top Rambus basher started hyping the stock today, so now he gets $5 per hype post.

The best strategy is a hype/bash straddle, where you get $5 either way, (again ignoring the San Francisco remark.)
