Zeev,

I didn't understand that you meant the total royalties.

Can you explain this sentence?:

Thus 1% to 2% is far for excessive if other IP do not load the product with an additional royalties in excess of 3% to 6% (including "internal royalties for internal patents and cross licenses).

Hi Zeev Hed; Re "sector total royalties to all IP owners should not exceed 5% to 7%."

How is this arranged? What if there are 300 small IP firms, each demanding 1%? What happen then?

Incidentally, Rambus would do well to split into two companies and divide their IP equally. Then each company could extort royalties separately, and the sum would give a higher percentage of that 5 to 7% than a single company.

P.S. I have no problems with your English. In fact, I don't notice that you are other than a native speaker. Everybody, native or not, is going to make typos and mispeaks. When I look at posts that I thought I read over carefully before posting, I frequently wince at my errors. Other people's deviations, I can live with, I guess.
