I know we've discussed internet security issues over on the other thread a bit (firewalls and stuff), but the privacy issue is a distinct subject and at least as troubling. A professional friend sent me this today; try it if you want to be freaked out...

"The US and UK government have recently opened their CIL (combined image library) to the public and have allowed access to the international photo library.

They claim to have a picture of almost everyone in the world. I tried it and found my picture - taken some time ago. I know some people who have failed to find themselves and some who have found very old school pictures, army photos etc... It's an interesting experiment so try it for yourself.
