Wall St. wary of warnings
Bank, Xerox advisories have investors
cautious about 'confession period'

...NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Investors will be on guard for earnings news this week
after some high-profile warnings last week roiled U.S. stock markets.

Early indications suggest U.S. stocks will open mixed.

companies have issued negative warnings so far, and while he expects that
number to eventually top the 225 warnings in the first quarter, it should still be
below the 370 companies that gave warnings a year ago.

"The peak weeks will be next week and first two weeks of July," he predicted.
Overall he believes the second and third quarters will see strong earnings
gains, although some interest-rate sensitive sectors such as financial stocks
and home furnishings could see results hit.....

TER -- For those that still hold TER, I don't like the way she is trading. Just broke below $80 on decent volume. Dropped pretty hard to $78.5. Looks like there is some meat to that Friday bone. Others in sector coming under some sympathy pressure.
