Not many people know SAG/AFTRA is striking against the advertisers over residuals and payment for cable and internet commercials.

One of the advertisers that is being targeted by the unions is GM. Union truckers and workers are refusing to cross picket lines at targeted plants so I'm guessing it has had some small effect on the company though they continue to deny that it has any.

The advertisers are doing a good job so far of keeping this news out of the mainstream media. I guess you can do that when you're paying for the news shows.

Talks just broke down and now SAG is threatening to bring in the big guns (celebrities) to help instigate a boycott of some of the larger advertisers who have been doing none union commercials. GM is one of those named for attention.

You may want to look into this situation and think about the effect it may potentially have on your stock if any.
