Those are the also the 2 fastest growing of the top three microprocessor based segments, throwing in desktop, of course. Mobile growth is because corporations are going more and more with mobiles for their employees, buying them docking stations also for at work. Mobiles let them take the office home, or even to the beach! Goody, huh? Servers are growing for a lot of reasons, but you can keep it simple and say the Internet. Intel has all 100% of those server X86 sales, at the biggest margins of any of their products, of course.

The new Intel mobile products look at a glance to make Transmeta a ho-hum. Wonder what they do to AMD? I'd say RIP for AMD mobile, except for lowest end K6 whatevers.
