That is really good news for NRGN, I thought that PFE might get so distracted by the merger that they would let the NRGN collaborations slide. May take another position in NRGN if it hits the lower 20s again.

I watched the end of the day "step it down" act again today. This time it seemed to be primarily those executing through Solomon Smith Barney and through Herzog et al. (surprise, surprise!!!...... not!).

Bear, Stearns might have been in there, too.... not certain.

Sorry, didn't see it until it was already moving. I do not know if the "waving" of the bid was a trigger.

This is fascinating to watch. I can't get enough of this stuff, completely enjoying the lessons in manipulation. But...... again, does anyone know why it is being done? Is Smith Barney acting as an advisor for a suitor, and making sure that the offer looks attractive?

Last time I was asked about the size of the trades.... those that went off at the bid were largely 100 share blocks.
