Ryan,

I keep a casual eye on ROST. With perfect hindsight I can tell you that when you posted your message it was a good entry opportunity. Hope you nailed it.

I'm still holding my 20002KM10 and suffering. Wish I could have written calls against these. Time to get serious about moving an account. But what has really caught my interest in the retail sector is AMES, selling at about 40% book value, and less than 3x forward estimated earnings. They have been missing sales targets in recent months, attributed to poor weather in the Northeast. I have vivid memory of passing on AMES when I could have gotten it for 10 1/2 in September 1998. And I don't mean hindsight; I actually stared at the price, but at the time I had sworn off all market activity until I learned something about the game. Needless to say watching it go to 45 in the next 9 months was painful. I will not pass on it again. I think we are at or very close to the bottom. I bought some last week and will buy more if it goes lower. Expecting to sell AUG7_1/2 at around 2 if we get any kind of rally here.

Would love to have somebody look at the fundamentals on this one and comment. Virgil? Are you with us? Herm? Anyone?
