Even more significant: TACNAV TLS is being tested as a KEY COMPONENT of the US Army's task force XXI Battle Command brigade and Below. For those of you who don't understand mil speak, Brigade and below means all field deployable vehicles in the tactical service, this is where the unit volume scales up! If the TACNAV iterations are accepted into the digital battlefield system as being forecast, almost all vehicles would need to have a system. It also says that it provides redundancy against GPS failure another key point. Because you just cant forecast what might happen in the satellite realm, too many question marks about space threats.
