How about the saying that:

"Don't swing mud with a pig, you both get dirty but the pig likes it!"

Elmer continues to deceive by misquoting and taking things out of context. And if you take the time to make a point so even him can understand it, he just makes a smart as$ comment to the part of the post which had nothing to do with the main argument. Elmer has nothing to add except lies and confusion.
