HOUSTON, Mar 23, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Equalnet
Communications Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: ENET) announced today that it
has completed its previously announced acquisition of ATCALL, Inc.
Total consideration was the assumption of approximately $2.7 million of
secured debt and the issuance of 365,044 shares of restricted Equalnet
common stock.

"Our experience in previous acquisitions should permit us to seamlessly
integrate the ATCALL operations into our own and achieve meaningful
overhead reductions," commented Mark Willis, Equalnet's Chairman.
Mitchell H. Bodian, Equalnet's President and CEO added, "We continue to
review additional acquisition opportunities in various
telecommunications niches and hope to make a number of additional
acquisitions in the near future."
