That is social pressure. It's very democratic. It's the same kind of social pressure we had here in the 50's- an era people look back on with teary eyed nostalgia. The Good Old Days. Unless they are black, or Hispanic, or Chinese, or Korean, or anything but white...... The social pressure there is at least equally meted out (according to some friends). It seems to be a blanket that covers all. The discussion was about fairness. I would say the Scandinavian countries ARE more fair than here. That doesn't mean you would want to live there. It is simply a point about fairness.
