I'm not usually a reader of this thread, but tonight I happened to take a look for the first time in many months, and I was surprised to read that A@P has been jailed for mail fraud related to collecting disability payments. I then looked up a couple of thestreet.com columns to get filled in on the story. Out of curiousity, I then checked PACER, which is the federal court's docket server. I found that A@P had lost a suit in federal court in 1996. An insurance company had sued him to recover disability insurance payments. I also found, in a full-text search of SI, that nobody has published this docket previously, at least not on SI. So, I assume some readers will find it interesting. I'll print the docket in the next post. FWIW, I have nothing for or against A@P, so please nobody flame me. I'm just providing some interesting content, from public records, on a story of recent interest. If you find it interesting, that's fine. If you'd rather not read it, then just skip the next post. BTW, I usually find PACER useful for finding dirt on management of OTC:BB companies: Bankruptcies, civil suits for all sorts of nonsense, and in the case of HITT's CEO a criminal fraud conviction and a failed appeal.
