Considering the mother-in-law returned back to the states this afternoon after a 2 week visit, I'm in quite a 'light' mood as it is. <ggg> That being said, we know gorilla game investing is not a short term strategy. Time is the most important part of that equation. If one was sitting on the sidelines, they scratched their heads and were caught off guard during a day like today. Will investors giving Qualcomm a few years to work solve any of the investment equation? My investment dollars have remained invested and poised for that scenario, but it remains one stock in gorilla gaming. Go back and read the August to January (or even earlier) scenario of Rambus on this thread. Each individual company has their own unique story based on the 'game' they are playing. Revisit the manual to review the time requirements of some of the games they illustrate in the past. Holding Cisco today seems pretty astute to most at this point in time, but try to gauge what the sentiment for holding Cisco in 1994 was like. It was not pretty. You couldn't give it away for a period of time. I read unclewest's account of going on a 3 month journey: my wife and i arrived home last night after a 3 month tour of the USA. we began our trip on 21 march...on that date cree closed at 161.50. been gone 3 months...cree is now at 161.50. guess its been quiet around here. This is one of the better illustrations I've seen of making a case that 'doing nothing' is often the best strategy in the short term for investors. I'm not saying we all need to pack our bags and hit the road for 3 months, but allowing our investments the gift of time is what it is all about. How much time does the tortoise have?
