That's because snaptrack, in the eyes of most, looks like a step child. LOL

I guess that's because the keyword "CDMA" is not part of the news.

And yes, the news is actually pretty significant. Although it's good the impact is underestimated right now.

Let's wait for the time when the money coming in, then we can surprise those clueless Ed Synder type analysts with a sounding slap in the face.

The news about SnapTrack's ability to provide value added technology to GSM (thereby giving QCOM a foot in the door of the European market) helps explain why QCOM was willing to pay what some people thought was an extraordinary sum for a privately held company.

Analysts like Ed Snyder will probably never understand why the SnapTrack news has major implications as far as earnings are concerned. He will still be watching for the purported end of Globalstar as QCOM starts raking in the royalties from GSM manufacturers.
