What Reagan Boom?
Don't you remember the banks going BOOM! I had 7 banks in 18 months as they failed one after another and they just transferred the funds to the next domino.

Go back and take govt 101 over....Congress controls the pursestrings, not the president- and who was in control of the Congress in the 80's you ask? The democrats of course. But this logic will probably not fit in with your anti-Reagan agenda, so take it FWIW.

>>You had better be thankful for the presidential term limit, because without that, Clinton would kick the S*** out of the Republicans again.

LOL. Wrong again old timer.

Polls show that Clinton is unacceptable to @60% of Americans. In fact, the recent CBS/NYTimes poll revealed that 57% would refuse to vote for Clinton if he could run again. Remember, the majority voted against him twice.

While Clinton could never achieve even a simple majority, Reagan had two majority landslides, the latter the greatest in US history with the exception of Washington's, which was by acclamation. Unlike Clinton, Reagan could have easily won a third term, if so inclined and if the Constitution allowed it.
