Ken,

I am pro-gold pro-gata and even pro-Ken(you).

But I have to admit that d, aka enigma,
has "done a number" on you ever since
I noticed months ago that his posts
changed to a slick and polished reply
that addressed not you as the designated
receiver, but those who are not SI members
and only read this thread, along with those
who are able to post on SI but do not on this thread.
These are those who do not have the depth and
experience like you and most all others who post
here, but only want a sense of who right and who
is incorrect. Bottom line, whoever has the best
sounding post wins. Needed is non technical replies
to have the best "acceptance", and if technical then
best to say in a manner that seems to be common sense
rather than technical sense. Lots, if not all, of what
d says sounds as if he is replying to a wacko,
to someone out in left field, to someone with odd
or extremes views. Correctness not an issue since
the readers can not and want not to investigate,
so they choose the correct reply as that which is
not the most radical or the one not requiring thougths
required to support their position.

So Ken, you keep saying "its clear... just open you eyes"
and d replies that you are lost and confused.

d wants the readers to get not so much his message,
but the message that Ken is a guy on a new york city
street corner, and get you message as a wacho speaking.

Thus whatever you say becomes anti that.

Ken says Barrick and producers are doing wrong,
and so the anti is received, making the above 2 ok'ness
in what they do.

You post Ken shows that you are here.

The essence of the article is so simple, yet, there are so many who fail to understand the message. The producers for one, and then we have their choir who would support any activity that they engaged in. Apologists are non thinkers and double density is the leader of the pack for the gold industry. I guess with a handle like enigma he is admitting that he doesn't make sense and is in fact a collage of contradictions.
