Dear Gus and Tony: I havent looked into the details of this proposed spinoff as to me its not that big a deal (ie the McData stock we will get wont be material in relation to our EMC holdings IMHO-but again that is without studying it)
However, the purpose of a multiclass stock situation is to give one party generally the economic benefits (I presume US) and allow the other party to retain voting control (I presume THEM). JDN
