Heinz, i think you have to interpret sentiment indicators differently after coming off an oversold bottom.

there were a lot of screaming overbought put/call ratios and sentiment in november 99.

sentiment indicators only get you in the area, price and volume rules.

as we have seen on the bullish side, extreme sentiment becomes even more extreme (remember swenlin put bands around rydex, because he gave up on the extreme sentiment above 1998 not signalling a top -g-)
