Actually, I totally agree. I'm really glad I'm not short. In fact, it would have been easy to assume that the SnP 1480 would not hold, as has been the case too many times in the past.

I believe the breakout was fairly narrow, led by the techs, drugs and telecom. Further, I believe that if the consumer durables, consumer staples, financials, industrial cyclicals, and retail come into play, the DJIA might even go positive for the year. It could happen. <gg>
