Tuesday June 20, 7:32 am Eastern Time Company Press Release QUALCOMM Enters Into CDMA Modem Card License Agreement with Seiko Instruments Incorporated Seiko to Expand its Product Offering Using CDMA SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 20, 2000--QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM - news), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced that it has entered into a CDMA modem card license agreement with Seiko Instruments Inc. Under the terms of the royalty-bearing agreement, QUALCOMM has granted Seiko Instruments a license under certain QUALCOMM intellectual property to develop, manufacture and sell modem card products for wireless applications utilizing CDMA air-interface technologies.
