Hi Gang,(Caution! Long Rant)

Well it was a great, no, make that a phenomenal weekend. The weather was great, the resort was beautiful, but the Porchers made everything dull by comparison. A greater group of people I have never had the pleasure to be associated with.

Dealer, you were(and are) incredible. How you tied up all the loose ends and made the weekend come off without a hitch (okay the prime rib was a little cold.<gg>) was incredible! Kudos and hats off to you Dealer lady, the grand dame of the Porch!! It was a pleasure to finally meet you even if you had to guess 50 names before you got mine.

Polvie, You were great and your skillful reading of Clappy's letter has us all fuzzy on the inside. Sorry we didn't get you out on the links Sunday. Keep the picture awards coming as I hope to win one of the post awards one of these days.(I'll let you in on a little secret Clappy, all the ladies had a special table dance just for had you been able to make it) Coonaz volunteered to do a table dance for the women but they paid him plenty NOT to.<GGG>

Drenko and Mrs. Drenko<gg>,(Hey Dawn, Thousand bucks says you slice it into the woods...Hey Dangerfield! get your butt outta here) Seriously, it was nice to see a husband and wife enjoying a round together, Although I understand Sunday night it was many rounds.... What can I say but the family that golfs together, cusses together. It was a pleasure meeting you both.

Rick, great talk Sunday night. You got me so fired up I went out and bought those JDSU July 300 calls. Got em for a steal too. Only a 125 premium. Now JDSU only has to hit 500 by next month and I am set for life. How can I ever thank you?!

JW and Tech, you guys tear me up. I spent most of my time trying to figure out who was the youngest.. JW thanks again for the quick TA, in fact it was so quick I'll have to PM you to run it by me again. I went to BigCharts.com and all I can say is my chart might have well been in Chinese for all I could read out of it.

Rob, MY TEAM DID NOT CHEAT!!!! Do you think your lovely wife Kim, who by the way to all who weren't there, was on MY team would EVER let me cheat her wonderful, loving, husband out of such a prestigious award? Yeah, Right!!

Piscato, thanks for allowing that unexpected roommate to join you. I know he was a pain in the butt coming in so late and snoring and generally trashing the place, but hey, I gotta be me!!!

CRDesign, I am truly sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you. You were very pleasant in our quick couple of conversations. I would have needed several clones to spend all the quality time I wanted with the Porchers there.

Hi Abstract! Interesting conversation we had with Volts on the effects of the party and how it would affect the thread. I still say it will make us even better. There was not ONE individual I met there who wasn't as (to borrow V's name) genuine in person as they are on the Porch. Had we gotten together and found out that most people were put ons or outright fakes, then we would have a problem.

Ritch, enjoyed the round and glad we won, even if Rob thinks we cheated. Hope you and Mrs Ritch (I have gone totally blank on her name, sorry) made the flights back without the same problem coming here.

She-x and He-x (sorry but the name stuck), nice to see another golfing family. Like CR, sorry I didn't get to talk to you more, but there is always next year and the Porch.

Rose, a pleasure meeting you. It was most kind of you and Polvie to drink the toast with me for my mom. She is a trooper and has handled dad's passing with a courage that amazes me.

Dangergirl, also a pleasure meeting you, and you most likely could run rings around me. I don't know how you could run in that heat. I almost passed out from the heat and I was riding in a golf cart.

Red, Incredible that you came all the way from Prague to be with us. Don't know how you did it. By the time I would have recovered from the jet lag, the party would have been over. Look forward to seeing the pictures you took.

To Leggs, Cowgirl, Depy(who I said a quick hello and goodbye to, as she was arriving as I was leaving) and Bonuss, again this was another case of to many people, too little time. I'll get to know you better on the Porch in preparation for next year.

Tom, what can I say? Your hospitality and the time you gave was very much appreciated. See you can do crowds!! It was a testament to you that this party ever happened. We all came to meet Da Man!! I still can't believe I let you rattle my cage on the first hole. With all due respect, you did have a little help from Coonaz.

Let's see, who am I forgetting? Who was that loudmouth who thought he was so damn funny?........................... oh yeah, Coonaz!!! As with Tom, what can I say?? You are my brother and I love you man. Meeting your father was special and I can see the rock solid bond between you two. I see a lot of golf together in our future and I am glad the party brought out the Coonster we all know and love. Don't let anything take you down again.

I am siting here at 12:15 am suffering serious brain fry and there is this nagging thought that I have left someone out. If I did, it is the late hour to blame and that's my story and I am sticking to it and I humbly apologize.

We have a special group here people and I think we realize how much so after this weekend. I predict next year will see the porch party do at least a double from now. Enjoyed it immensely and we HAVE to do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY Best to all and I am outta here,

Joel

dangergirl,
God bless you, that was one of the trips that I will never forget. I am now on full time Absinth high, bumping into all the walls in my apartment, babbling words in ....
Love you, God bless,
