For what it's worth, AOL popped up as an advertiser on FreeLane today, the free ISP that ATHM owns.

When I first started using FreeLane about a month ago, I'd say most of the ads were for @Home, now I'm seeing lots of new companies and fewer @Home ads.

The AOL ad was a shocker.

That was a very solid post dood. If I had been a shareholder of ATHM when it bought XCIT I'd probably be headed to the chair for murdering the entire ATHM board of directors.

But I love beaten down quality stocks like ATHM. The worst is behind them. Excite will end up being sold to some dumb European company for untold billions and the rest of ATHM will be folded into Mrs T. We might see $45 per share as a result.
