Bobby, they are always early. what their positioning is telling us is that the next decline will be large...it is not a timing indicator.

also, NYSE members have been on a five week buying spree, covering shorts and helping the market not to fall out of bed (the debt levels at NY securities firms have risen to fresh records in support of this exercise), and this load of inventory requires a rally for distribution.

the latest data on both financial and non-financial debt increases during Q1 are a shocker btw.

god forbid a recession hits these fair shores...corporate America is singularly ill-prepared for one.
