I try and convince all my friends and relatives the mantra repeated in this thread over and over: profit often. A friend of mine doubled an investment( on paper) within 2 weeks, but unfortunately he thought selling was a ludicrous idea. Now, a couple of weeks later, his paper profit is sitting at 15%. Experience is a tough tutor, but at least he wasn't foolish enough to buy on margin. Thanks to all on this thread for showing that there is such a thing as a savvy investor.
