I hear ya Skeeter (but I can't page you :)) ... _if_ the move to laptops becomes a trend rather than a fashion, then it says something about the vendors that will do relatively better, which components will be in demand, or not. Taken to the limit, and I don't think is realistic, individuals will have only one (portable) computer rather than two/three. Solid state flat panels will be in higher demand, CRT's not. Wireless probably makes more sense with portables, both intra-house and out-house (<g>). Just musing ...
