Dave, Rambus set about to develop faster chip-to-chip communications ideas and has done it well and owns the rights to those ideas. Live with it. How about a different theory? Rambus set out to build a high bandwidth DRAM on a narrow channel, and found out that it was a don't care in the PC industry. Their lawyers then discovered that they could extract royalties from SDRAM vendors, and saved the stock from imminent collapse 48 hours later. Scumbria
