What "liberalism" are you talking about? Sounds like the straw man that soi-disant "conservatives" love to beat up on.

On second thought, don't answer that question. The last thing I want to get involved in is yet another long inconclusive dispute on the relative vices/virtues of "liberalism" and "conservatism". :>)

You are defining liberalism to suit your purposes. I cannot agree with you that all liberalism is based on the idea of unfairness. That's like saying all religion is based on the concept of unfairness- because some people who find no fairness here in this life feel they have to believe in some giant justice coming later in order to go on. That's true of SOME people- but not of everyone.
