I now see there are posters on this thread who have owned SSTI a lot longer than me who are likely to be more knowledgeable on the subject than me, but I will be happy to make some further comments in the near future. Thanks for the INTC/AMD update. I am a true believer in silverback Intel and I have been very favorably impressed with the vision of Grove and Barrett for years. However, the Lehman Bros semi conductor industry report I just referred to in post #26556 may contradict the assertion that AMD is entirely dependent on the PC microprocessor retail market. The report notes that 30% of AMD's revenues come from flash memory. Best, Huey
