Whenever there is a possible piece of bad news on Intel, it is IMMEDIATELY LEAKED to the Media and run up every flag pole from here to heaven. So far, other than perhaps slower clock speeds than desktop processors - BUT CLOCK SPEEDS FASTER THAN CURRENT ALPHA and UltraSPARC SERVER CHIPS - I have seen no published data - good or bad. Again, the target market for the ITanium - Servers and Worstations - require benchmarking quite different from the usual teen age Gamer crowd. Paul
