NURUN Acquires Italian New Media Agency, Quam SRL

MONTREAL, QUEBEC-- JUNE 26, 2000

Another important step in NURUN's European development strategy

NURUN Inc., a subsidiary of the Quebecor Inc. group, announced
today it has entered into an agreement to acquire all the shares
of the Italian new media agency Quam SRL and its two subsidiaries,
Quam Production and Quam Idea. The purchase price is for cash and
share consideration.

This latest acquisition is part of an aggressive European
development strategy, which aims at expanding operations in
Europe. Earlier this year, NURUN acquired Cythere Interactive,
the leading independent interactive agency in France. With the
Quam acquisition, NURUN will have nearly 250 professionals in
Europe, with plans to double this number over the next 12-18
months.

Founded in 1996 and employing more than 50 new media professionals
in Milan, Quam's activities include strategic Web consulting, the
design and creation of Web sites and portals, interactive
marketing and online advertising and promotion. The company's
clients include Societa Autostrade, MTV Italia, Lottomatica,
Alpitour, Conde Nast (GQ Italia) and Prenatal. Quam's revenues
for the current fiscal year are expected to be in excess of 8
billion Italian Liras or US$4 million.

"We expect to grow significantly thanks to this strategic
relationship with an international player like NURUN," said
Emanuele Nenna, President of Quam SRL. "The international
presence of NURUN and its strategic relationship with Quebecor,
the largest commercial printer in the world, will give us as much
financial and professional resources as we could ever hope for.
First step? Opening an office in Rome before fall"

"NURUN will prove to be an outstanding strategic partner for
Quam," said Roberto Leonelli, Managing Director of Quam SRL.
"Their proven know-how, their growing client base and their unique
ability to combine strategy, marketing, design and technology will
help us differentiate ourselves in Italy and accelerate the growth
of our business."

"We are pleased to have a recognized and award-winning company
like Quam to develop our business in Italy," said Jacques-Herve
Roubert, President of NURUN Europe. "We intend to significantly
expand our operations in Europe and realize we need solid local
operations to make this happen. Quam has an excellent reputation
and client list in Italy, which we hope to build on through our
own client referrals."

The transaction is subject to completing legal purchase documents
including the approval of the regulatory authorities and is
expected to be completed in early July.
