We are all dependent on historians, compendia like dictionaries and encyclopedias, atlases, and textbooks, for certain purposes. I was challenged, in my characterization of liberalism, of having stacked the deck, so I showed that I was defining it in a widely accepted way. That was perfectly legitimate. Liberalism is an historical phenomenon, not my own invention......
