More e-mail from friends of Edwarda's. I am astounded by the number of friends she has, and how far apart they are spread geographically. Truly she touched the hearts and lives of many people. ------------------------------------------------------------``She would rather light a candle than curse the darkness, and her glow has warmed the world. '' I too, shall miss her, Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------ Kerry, Thank you for sending the news out about "Edwarda". I have known her for years and particularly loved her intellect and wry sense of humor. Placed her with Xxxxxx Xxxx and tried elsewhere. In spite of her sarcasm I think she enjoyed life and was always willing to share her knowledge. She has certainly left a void and I don't know how it can be filled. Thank you again for taking the time and caring enough to let us know. Xxx Xxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------ To "Edwarda" From:Finch College women, who lament our loss of you, a generous and loving friend... "Edwarda" valued the education Finch College gave her and credited it for her great success in the field of business and finance. She valued her friendships with fellow students and instructors. "Edwarda" cooperated fully when the Finch Alum Association was founded in 1992. It was "Edwarda" who contacted hundreds of women and wrote their biographical sketches for the first Finch Directory. It was "Edwarda" who, for six years, printed the labels for all Finch mailings. When her beloved Mother, Kathryn, died, she gave the Finch Association $1000 as a memorial to her Mother... We love you "Edwarda", and as the years go by, we will continue to miss you. Signed:Dr. Margaret Maxwell, speaking for the women and men of the Finch Community. ------------------------------------------------------------ KJC
