Dell supporting Linux to the same level as WinX. This should tell the market something about the prospects of a closed loop technology. Linux technology will perform fine on the low end and Solaris will kick but on mission critical high end applications. Oh yea, Solaris is free when you purchase a SUN box. Just like Linux. Why would anyone pay for an OS anymore these days? That is until MAC OX unveils their ASP operating system in January for the consumer. Thanks, Bob.
