I like trading the bigger ones when I see really oversold conditions. I thought CNET would take a little longer but sometimes these position trades turn into a one day hold. :0) Good digs on RHAT. I might pick my CNET back up tomorrow as I still think it is on pace for the mid 30s.

PLRP so much reminds me of SAGE last year. People were frustrated at the high volume with the MMs continually knocking it down on what was obvious buying. This went on for a couple months if I recall. There were a few head fake rallies from .18 - .45 and many could not believe the amount of heavy accumulation with no upward movement. Well we all know where it finally ended up. PLRP, if the Texaco thing is the real deal this will run back past $1 when the time is right.

Tuesday (06/20/00) Market Commentary

Nasdaq was able to broke its 4000 key resistance level on Tuesday. The last primary number at 5.13 p.m. shown that Nasdaq closed above 4000 level at 4013.36, gained 23.53 points. This is the first time since April 11 that Nasdaq was able to close above 4000 level. How meaningful it is? Summer rally is coming? Well, as we previously mentioned in our market commentary report, Summer Rally for this year is not going to be a easy one. Being hurt by the effect of higher interest rate on corporate profits, the Dow is traded in negative sentiment. Dow lost nearly 123 points on Tuesday for 10435.16 index level. Now, if Nasdaq open low on Wednesday, it might test its 4000 psychology level. If Nasdaq is able to hold on 4000 range, it will be a positive indication. Why? We expect some profit-taking activities will take place on Wednesday or Thursday. We thought that 'elite' technology stocks, especially stocks had continuous creating new 52-week high in past few days, are in over-bought conditions. A small price correction by profit-taking is healthy for another rally but not too much. That's the reason we said holding on 4000 level is a good indication. Also, there will be a meeting held on Wednesday known as OPEC in deciding the price of the petroleum-related products. Oil prices had inflated recently. If the outcome of the meeting turn out unfavorable, it will definitely put additional inflation pressure on U.S. economy, and, of course, the Federal Reserve. Watch closely on that meeting. The Dow might hurt if the meeting turn out unfavorable.
