Another Schwab story: I put in a limit at 42 to sell HLIT. Then changed my mind when I saw that it was going up and cancelled the order. I waited 10 minutes thinking that surely the cancellation had gone in and placed an order to sell at 43.50. Well the first order got filled at 42, but I wasn't notified for 45 minutes. And so did the second at 43.50. So I sold 500 shares I didn't have. Turns out to be a good deal for me this time.

I called them to find out why and got the same answer - it's the computers and someone else's fault but it's only happening with certain stocks today. It should be fixed tomorrow. Fat chance.

Speaking of muy perfecto exits, Mr. Smithee is patting himself on the back for having escaped the curse of CMRC yesterday.

Serious spankage today.
