She who hesitates...In the interest of domestic tranquility, though, better nix the old sweetheart thing. I agree with X. It's too cool. I was tempted to get a post too and I don't know you or Lexington from Bumfu...well you get the idea. Except in a virtual sense. I think this thing has some kind of nostalgic appeal which is broader than one might think. A bit of national web marketing could bid these things way up or at least sell em in a blink. Heck, maybe you could create a security based on them called SPKR or HULL (they're available I think, I looked em up). Just to offset that not for profit blather with some good old greed.

Do it. There is a drive-in about 30 miles from where we live and we go there occasionally. They don't use speakers anymore. They just broadcast the sound on an FM station, so all you have to do is tune in the car radio.
